I’m a remodeler! I still have to pinch myself when I write that, although it’s more of a passion and less of something I plan on pressuring into monetization. Back in 2006 I worked an sinternship that actually turned out to be one of the biggest learning experiences I’ve ever had: namely my boss and I gutted and rebuilt a building erected in the 1790’s. I learned how to re-stud a structure, pour foundation, dry wall, tile, create walls, and so so so much more about the nature of caring for an old building and loving the nuances of craftswomanship.

Nowadays my husband, Patrick, and I love working together to create and care for the beautiful spaces we have been so blessed to live in.  You’ll also see in the photos and videos that our Cat Bix Biederbeck, and Dogs Ella Fitzy-gerald and Benny Goodman-Gooddog also enjoy helping (thwarting). We started with a few upgrades to our 900 sft condo, moved on to the MAJOR remodels at our 1,600 sf  house built in 1911 in Kentucky (major remodels including the kitchen, floors, bathroom, 20x24ft deck and structure).  We are now working on our 1,200 sf  home built in 1864 in New England! So far from our home state of KY and our network of subcontractors this one will truly be an adventure!

As far as color and design choices go, as an artist I do not shy away from saturated delightful colors or patterns. Our primary décor style is a mix of retro with bohemian and mid century modern. I love texture and incorporating a touch of ‘out there’ with cleaver ‘nods’ to the home’s history. I look forward to doing a lot of custom wall and celling murals in the New England cozy home and will be updating the youtube site with frequent videos on what I'm working on..

Watch the Projects.

I just started a YouTube channel where I’ll “Get Into It” about the remodel projects and other things I enjoy creating and making!
